A non-metal partial for missing teeth. A licensed dentist reviews your case before a U.S. dental lab makes the appliance. Flex from $489.
A flexible partial denture replaces one or more missing teeth with a removable appliance made from a flexible, non-metal material. Tooth-colored clasps are meant to blend in more than a metal clasp. It is made for your mouth. It is not a one-size tray from a store shelf.
Klyros coordinates that appliance. You take impressions with a kit shipped to you. A licensed dentist reviews the case. An FDA-registered U.S. dental lab fabricates the appliance only after that review. Klyros does not practice dentistry.
Adults replacing missing teeth on the upper arch, the lower arch, or both. The Klyros path is built for about 1–6 missing teeth. Whether a flexible partial is appropriate is a clinical decision made by the reviewing dentist.
After your impressions and photos are submitted, a licensed dentist (DDS) in your state reviews them. Fabrication starts only if that dentist determines a prescription is appropriate. If the dentist determines a prescription is not appropriate, the appliance is not made.
Klyros does not diagnose conditions or issue prescriptions. Clinical judgment stays with the independently licensed dentist.
Who reviews the case? A licensed dentist in your state reviews your impressions and photos and decides whether a prescription is appropriate.
Read the questions on How it works, and keep a relationship with a local dentist for exams.
The impression kit ships to your door with instructions. You take the impressions at home and can retake them if the first set is not usable. The reviewing dentist sees the impressions before the lab begins. The sequence is spelled out on How it works.
When the dentist approves the case, an FDA-registered U.S. dental lab fabricates the partial and it ships to you. Most orders arrive in about 3–5 weeks from the day you order. That window depends on impression quality, the dentist review, and the lab.
Cosmetic removable appliances are non-surgical, non-permanent dental devices intended for aesthetic enhancement only. They do not move teeth, correct bite alignment, or treat dental disease. All cases are reviewed by a licensed dentist prior to fabrication where applicable. Eligibility is determined at the discretion of the reviewing provider. Results vary by individual case. Appliances are removable and not intended as a substitute for comprehensive dental care. Patients should maintain regular in-office dental examinations and follow the advice of their local dental provider.
Besides implants, dentists commonly discuss bridges and removable partials (flexible, cast, or a flipper). These work differently from implants: a removable partial is non-surgical and comes out for cleaning, and it isn't a substitute for an implant in every case. A dentist can tell you which fits your situation. Klyros coordinates removable partials reviewed by a licensed dentist in your state.
Common removable options include a flipper, a flexible partial, or a cast partial; the right one depends on your mouth and a dentist's review. A flexible partial is a removable, non-surgical appliance made to blend near the gum line. A licensed dentist in your state reviews your case before anything is made.
Flexible partials use a base and clasps that sit near the gum line and are designed to be less noticeable than metal clasps. How it looks depends on your teeth and the dentist's review; results vary. Want a preview? See your smile options →
